Acceptable Forms of Artwork

We accept and can work with many different file formats.

Vector Art

This is a scalable file type that works well in small and large applications.

• Encapsulated Postscript (.eps)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf)
• Adobe Illustrator (.ai): CS2 or lower
• CorelDraw (.cdr): 12 or lower

All text must be converted to outlines, curves, or paths.

Raster Art

Raster or Bitmap files not recommended. They are pixel-based and often appear jagged-edged. This file format does not scale well and is only suitable for smaller applications.

• Adobe Photoshop (.psd): CS2 or lower. Do not flatten images. Please supply the layered file.
• Tagged Image File (.tif): Resolution must be at least 600 dpi at 1/2 size of final artwork.
• JPEG (.jpg): Resolution must be at least 600 dpi at 1/2 size of final artwork.

Unacceptable forms of artwork include:

• Raster files in the following formats: .gif, .wmf, .bmp
• Programs: QuarkXPress, Paint, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint

Submitting Your Artwork

We are a PC based business and require files submitted to us to be PC compatible.

All color is direct-to-print from your files unless otherwise noted. CMYK and RGB colors can have different results in different output situations. If you need a color-match, please use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) and assign a PMS number to each color that needs matched.

Files may be delivered to us using the following methods:

• CDs, DVDs or PC formatted portable drives (e.g., thumb drives)
• E-mail attachments
• Zipped files (.zip), not Stuffed files (.sit, .sitx) are not.
